Question will replacing your stock intake void warranty?

I could not find if anyone has posted this question so I was wondering if taking out your existing stock air intake & replacing it with something like the k&n intake (short) would void your cars original factory warranty?

No, unless it can be traced to a specific problem (i.e. Cold air intake sucking in water and causing hydro lock.)

Here is a thread to help with other basic questions https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/197329-the-top-100-common-questions.html

It think it may, keep your stock one. Swap it when you need to take it to the shop.
Dont risk them saying "voided".

Then you didn't look very hard. This question has been posted at least a thousand times.. And it is clearly answered in the "top 100 questions" thread at the top of the 350Z forum page.

But...the answer is NO!

"Q: Will mods void my warranty?

A: A dealership cannot "void the warranty on the whole car" just because you have a JWT popcharger or aftermarket wheels. If they are trying to deny warranty service, they must prove that the mod caused the problem.

This is all part of the "Magnuson-Moss" Warranty Act, which protects consumers against shady business practice ...:

The Act makes it easier for purchasers to sue for breach of warranty by making breach of warranty a violation of federal law, and by allowing consumers to recover court costs and reasonable attorneys' fees."
