Nismo Z IMO is not that great looking of a car.

Personal preference.

even with everything on the car nismo'd out it still says its only putting down 300. i would say go with the 08, from what i hear they are built a little stronger and more geared towards a turbo upgrade down the road than the rev-up is. besides, you can put all your own stuff into the car instead of nissan doing it for you (im not the most educated on this, maybe some of the senior members will correct me)

but ultimately its what you want, a done up car off the lot or somthing you can work on

the gt is still going to come with all the bells and whistles, just not 300 nismo logos

Not a fan of the Nismo styling, the rear is kinda hideous...so Id go for the 08. If you plan to turbo the car then you will probably hit up suspension, exhaust, and wheels anyways.

nice nice for sure im getting the 08 350z but what im worried about is now i hear they don't have that many parts for the vq35hr motor yet =/ i was hoping all the old 350z parts would fit. do they at least have decent priced bolt on's. i wanna really start modding and working on my new Z. i hope the stock exhuast is good enough or should i tell the dealer to install a nismo exhuast. the g37 imo isn't as fun as a Z even if they are similar in speed. i have a choice since im saving some money by not getting the nismo.

i can get the dealer to install an exhuast i dont know how all that works and if they over charge and whatnot, but i also wan't to buy little upgrades such as ecu reflash and intake. if you guys have suggestions on what i should do that would be soooo greatly apprec. i really wanna catch up and start modding the things i would need to get the most bang for the buck. rims are last. also i was wondering if the 08 exhuast stock is good enough and if they are same as the 03-07 models. i hope it just as loud. i test drove one today and since i haven't driven the previous models i wouldn't know but it was definately louder than my 37. thanks guys big help and hope to stay in this forum and learn from the best. im going to be here for another 5 - 6 years and by then hopefully go to Z meets and by then have my Z turboed =]

san marino blue or black hmmmm and once i get it this wed i'll post vids and pics like no other hollllaaaaa im excited hahah sorry i was kinda dissapointed on the g37 and imo g35 is better but Z > all of them

Why don't you learn how to drive it properly first? Sign up for a handful of track events and then worry about more power if you need it then. From my experience, the Z is plenty quick on track in comparison to other cars, included older 911s, Caymans, Audis, GTOs, etc. Learning how to drive should be your first mod.

If I were you I'd get an '05 and take the extra $$$ to turbo it today.

How bad are you getting hosed on trading in the G?

I agree with maxpowers!!! Get an 05 and mod the hell out of it. Since you are wanting to go turbo your warranty on the 08 will be voided unless you like dismantling your entire car before dealer work.

If you are into Auto Crossing the Nisimo might be the car you want, what would it cost to make the 08 suspension as steady as the Nisimo? It is the best stock handling 350Z car made to day.

08 does have the stronger engine by a hair 300hp to 306hp.
