The GT-R isn't NA, and it's in a COMPLETELY different price range so wtf do you mean by low balled?

 

I have a 350Z and I think its the ***** of the Nissan Family. Skyline is the Daddy of NIssan. Fairlady is the "mom" and Silvia is the "daughter"...After all, those two does have girly names But anyway, if I had the money I go GT-R and since I don't, I'll stick with my 350Z!!!

who's the "son" and the family anyways? I know its not Altima and Maxima...they're are the two fat uncles

 

The Z wasn't Nissan's halo car anyway. I think it was one of their more expensive SUVs.

 

The GTR is a completely different car. The Z has always been the benchmark for performance for a reasonable amount of money. The GTR has alway sbeen the big monster from Nissan. I don't mind, as long as I own a Nissan I'm happy.

First, like so many others have said, the GTR and the 350Z are two COMPLETELY different cars. As such, I personally can't find any basis on which to compare the two.

My advice, just take the Z for what it is without comparing it to anything else. Whether it's the best or not is completely irrelevant...there's ALWAYS a better car.

 

Oh I for one feel completley slighted. I no longer smile evey time I drive my z. I no longer relish the smooth power delivery, the beautiful exhaust note and the crisp gear changes. In fact, I can't even appreciate the gorgeous lines. I bought this car to own the top notch nissan and now I can't appreciate it at all.

Yeah, I'm begining to think "Who the eff cares."

This iteration of the Z (Z33) marked the rebirth of the Z-car since its departure during the mid-90's. The Z car itself has its own lineage, history, purpose, target demographics and design principles as compared to the GT-R.

I don't know how many folks can actually afford a GT-R (with all the dealer mark-ups), and I'm not saying I'm getting one myself. But I do know that if I ever were to get one (if/when the wife says it's ok), I'm keeping 'em both.

 

i dont feel bad about the gtr making its name for itself. the z will always be the z no matter what as far as im concerned. and still the most unique vehicle nissan has ever made and and kept reinventing over the years.
