Why would you race a car with a bike? I have an 07 Gixxer 1000 and I just shake my head when a ricer or any car pulls up and want to race.

There isn't a car that can out do a bike, even if the car was modified. You would have to have a light car with a bare minimum of 1000 whp or a Bugatti.

my methods that have worked / working for me:

- accel / brake gently
- shift @ 2000rpm
- minimal use of AC
- no rev matching

my tank fills to about 15-16 gal every time, i anywhere from 360-400 miles a tank.

It's been done for the public, yes. However, I will stick up for the OP in saying that the ratings these cars (along with all cars) get are usually inaccurate based heavily on driving habits. My Celica averaged 12-15mpg more than what it was rated at, those numbers were solely based upon the fact that I tried to see how good I could get the numbers. Exactly what the OP is doing in his experiment.

Agreed. As do I.

Are you talking about in a race? I beg to differ. I've witnessed my friend's Supra beat most street bikes, considering that is the only thing that will be a relatively close race (around here anyway). Granted you're racing a stock(ish) bike vs. a heavily modded Supra... but look at power/weight. Not to mention he is a far cry off of the 1000hp mark (well, used to be... he now has over 1000, I'm talking about before though).

ummm most people wouldn't take a bike over 200mph anyone in a car almost certainly would if it was a straight even road or even a highway.

Most cars that get over 150mph easily will take any bike cuz you have to be ****ing retarded to take a bike that weighs 400 pounds over 150mph or just want to get your *** killed.
