Default To People Who Lemoned Their Z

Just out of curiousity, When you surrendered your Z, did u need to have Bridgestone Potenza's on it? And have at least 4/32 sized tread on it? My lawyer is telling me that i need the same branded tires that i bought the car with with that size tread.... Anyone know about this? i got bald tires now and im surrendering my car in like a week.... what to do???

Thanks Guys...

Ummmm, buy some tires is the first thing that comes to mind. I guess it wasn't that much of a lemon if you managed to wear the tires off of it.

Doesn’t make sense to me. Tires are tires. Then again I am not a California lemon law attorney.

If YOUR lawyer tells YOU that you need to do that as part of the deal that HE worked out, then it sure looks like you need to follow his instructions. Asking others if they had to do the same is meaningless unless they used the same lawyer and got the same deal.

I bought used Potenza's. They are RE050 instead of RE040 and are run-flat. They look the same for sure. It was $110 for 2 rear installed, with about 2/3 tread left on the tire.

Look for a used tire shop. The first one I called had them.

So you finally got a 350Z after 2 years, eh? What happened to the 300ZX you got? Hope you're making more than $800/month now...
