O.K. guys, I only have a second and I am going to be missing in action for a few days...I may be able to check in occasionally during that time....but just thought I would make it official that the Z's that are at our Long Beach port, started rolling to dealers today. I have seen a couple of posts saying we should have waited and released to the whole country at the same time...we usually do this with new models, however because all of the early units are pre-sold, we thought it was more important to get them out as soon as possible. We will take the same approach of getting them out asap when they arrive at our other ports. Hope we start hearing some reports from people who are driving very soon. Oh by the way, let's be happy for these early people and not mad that its not us. I will try and check in soon. Happy motoring

WOW. And while a much less trusted source than ZISME, someone just posted this at zcar: "I called Irvine Nissan to find out if they received the Z they expected today for their showroom floor. They received it and SOLD IT. It is on the streets!" Damn, someone may be driving their Z right now. I hope its someone from my350z.

Yup! I just got back from Mossy Nissan, in San Diego. There is a beautiful Silver 350Z with 18 inch wheels in the lot. I asked the absolutely obnoxious saleman hovering over it in the parking lot, like a guard dog, which one it was and he hadn't even heard that there were different versions. He said, "it's a 350z."
He was a super high-pressure salesman who was a total dolt. Tried to get me to buy it right then and there. I can only imagine what the price was. He refused to open the car to let me sit in it. But he almost demanded that i buy it. Then i could sit in it!
Anyway, they are out and at the dealers. This one had beautiful black leather interior but no Nav system. Man. I'm so sold on these cars now!!!
BTW, he said they had lots of them coming soon that were available. There were open pre-order slots as well. I don't know if this guy was telling the truth or what. I'm not going back to that dealer again. The salesman was some young asian (I think Japanese) dude. Stay away from him. The worst kind of car salesman ilk.

2 delivered today in San diego
Mossy Nissan just called two 350z'z delivered today on pre-orders. The chrome silver mentioned and a daytona blue, both touring models. El Cajon Mossy is scheduled to get its first on Friday. A Lemans sunset track-model. My pre-order is in port (L.A.) and should be in my hands in 10 to 14 days. These Lucky 350z owners are from Alpine and the UTC-La Jolla areas in San Diego according to the zip codes on the orders. We should be seeing many new Z's in San Diego. Mossy's five dealerships in San Diego County sold aprox. 120 pre-orders.
The sales manager thinks over 140 preoders from San Diego County dealerships Counting the design center 350z's should have almost 150 next few months.
Ordered Daytona Blue 6MT on Jan 17th.

350Z arriving
Just heard a commercial on the one of the local radio stations a local Oklahoma City Nissan dealer that the 350Z's will be arriving. They did not say when or anything like that. As far as I know this was the first mention of the Z arriving here in the midwest. I will call my dealer today and get the lowdown on what's going on today. She is finally coming home.
