When did the Z become a "girly" car?
#42
I've gotten just as many compliments "nice car" "cute car" "love it" etc. as I have gotten in my '69 Mustang. That's a good feeling being as my Z is my daily driver. I swear I get more looks too lol.
Doesn't bother me one bit....either way it's a compliment.

Being a girl i think this discussion is funny. Guys the car is not a chick car considering most chicks cant handle it. I for one love this car and would deff not call it a chick car. I have the coupe and its AMAZING. But us girls do say cute, hot, or w.e else you want to call it. Thats how we express it. So if a girl says that, its a huge compliment, not a put down. So be happy, and use the car as an advantage jk! So yes, us girls do think yourcars are CUTE and HOTT.

My grandpa said..."You finally got your James Bond car" (as a kid I used to love the James Bond movies and being that my profession is federal law enforcement I knew what he meant).
My grandpa even had me take him out and do a burnout through three gears lol. He loved it. Not bad for an 81 year old man. Then again...he used to own a 440 Dodge Charger back in the day and several other muscle cars. I love that man.
I agree w/ Megs though, it's not a chick car at all.

yea, I have a silverstone and girls esp. love the color and the size of the car. I think its a good thing. Its prob. because its more of a flashy/sparkle color. oh, but most of the girls say my car is "sexy"

The Z was a "girl friendly" car ever since it came in 5AT. Not bashing 5AT, just saying it gives the Z a broader market appeal, so we get to have old women and both genders who are incapable of driving 6spd enjoying what is supposed to be an enthusiast based vehicle. You always hear people complain that the S2K is a girly car, but it only comes in 6spd... I would say it was more manly than our Z in that respect.
Edited: for gender equality.

But I believe the Z should be strictly MT. My opinion, no need to argue over it.

ask a female that likes a mustang they wont call it dope or say it looks muscular. what else are they gonna say besides it looks cute. thats how they compliment cars/things in general that they like. If some redneck that drives drives a f450 or some **** and tells you that its a girly car... well that is pretty self explanatory!

I compare it to women driving Harley motorcycles they like that power between there legs and they don't have to ask it to drop the stool lid.
But if they can afford it which most working women can I think its incredibly sexy to see a woman driving a 350Z, S2000, Lotus, Corvette, Miata, Lambo or any Sports car except a RX-8 now thats a girly car, but its still a neat one.
