When did the Z become a "girly" car?

When did the Z become a "girly" car?
So I've had my 03 base silverstone Z for about 4 weeks now. It's pretty much stock and I've always loved how tough they look on the road when I've seen them over the years. Now that I've purchased one, the first 4 comments I've received about the car (from people I don't really know) have been:
1. "pretty car"
2. "that cars so cute"
3. "you ended buying a girl car?"
4. "Cute car"
I mean I don't care what other people think as long as I'm happy with what I'm driving (which I am), but I find it kinda humerous. Anyone else ever get these types of comments. I mean geesh, it's not like I'm rolling around in an Eclipse (no offense to Eclipse owners).

Had one chick say thats a cute car. Just said thanks. Didn't hurt my feelings any. It does get a ton of nice comments. Non of them where, "thats a chick car" or "what a girly car"

lol Nick...
I'm assuming most of these comments come from females. ?
They always say the car is cute.. nomatter what it is. It could be a 4X4 beast with mud tires and if they think its pretty and shiny they will call it 'cute'
However,
When I bought my Z my ex girlfriend (who was obviously jealous about me having the car because she has always wanted one herself) started going off about how it was a 'dinky' car. And she finds guys who drive mustangs and large SUV's to be more attractive (lol)
...needless to say my friends and I laughed about that pretty much all day.
I dont find the Z to be girly at all. It may have a certain level of 'elegance' to the design... but not girly by any means.
as a matter of fact another girl I know didnt buy the Z on purpose because she said it was too much of a mans car.
So it all depends on who you talk to I guess?

I actually got a comment about the Z being a girl car but they said that my black one looks manly. But hey, cute car means good looking car.

To the OP... Lower it, get new wheels, get an exhaust, and tint the windows.
I've gotten the "pretty, beautiful" compliment a lot.

I think the new mustangs are more girly than the Z. That's all I see driving them! middle-aged cougars or old *** men (in the roadster, of course). I swear, 90% of the ones I see are filled with women and I guess it has made me thing of it as a girly car now.
Most Z people I see are guys in their 20+. Plus I drive one, so it's MANLY!
