Default On a related note...

I'm taking the Z in to the dealership where I bought it to address a rattle in the dashboard and the driver's side door. Clearly they are going to have to raod test the car to try and diagnose the problem. Before reading this thread I was paranoid about how they would drive the Z so I was planning on asking that I go with the mechanic on the road test. After reading this thread I am paranoid about even letting the car out of my sight. Any suggestions regarding any actions I can take to make absolutely sure they don't abuse the car during the repairs?

go with him, thats about the best you can do, they likely have a policy that you cant be in the service bay for insurance reasons or whatever, but the bay likely has a door right there, perhaps they could open the door and let you watch? they might not just because no one likes to be watched,

always remember, what you see on here is the worst case scenario, wont happen often.
