I too had the problem with the door.

As someone mentioned, the problem stems from the black tape on the hinge. If you take the tape off, the paint will rub, have tried WD on and it works for a little while.

Anyway, my dealer has ordered a new door. Just hope this fixes it, its just one of those little pain in the R's things.

I've had both of these things happen to me too, and I took it to Nissan and asked them about it cutting off too early and they acted like they had never heard of this happening with a 350z. So we go to the gas station so I can show them, and it fills fine.....figures

Read the thread again. It's not a problem to "resolve". That's just the way it is. Try a different gas station with different pumps.

Hmmm, I don't have any problems with the gas door or fill ups.

I got the gease streak on the window once though.
