brings back memories, when i first seen an 03' Z i was pissed, i was man thats ugly, how do they go from the 300 to that? and then it started to grow on me the more i seen it, then i realized, "nissan has made a d@mn masterpiece of a car!" and they always do i.e. GT-R

 

As I first saw "The Run" as a movie theater preview, in the first scene as the Z accelerates on that straight away, I exclaimed:

"oooohhhhh maaaaaaannnn thats my car, THATS MY CAR"

I remember i seen it driving by me at that time i had a 2000 eclipse. I was staring at it saying to myself wow that car is sick the door handles got my attention first. I thought that really made the car stick out and then i looked at the cars lines and exterior plus the exhaust note.I starting saving up from that day on got the 03' then traded it almost for a used Z06 i ended up taking a drive to my local nissan dealership just to check out the 07's and the rest is history.

 

I didnt like it... lol

It grrew on me

 

Saw it up close at the '03 Atlanta Auto Show. Walked and gawked around it...and around...and finally sat it in and told my friend, "I don't know when, but one day I will."

I always liked it.

My friend is as much of a car enthusiast as I am, and he actually was pointing them out to me on the roads saying he wanted one. We both used to say we wanted one when we could afford them.

Unfortunately he is 6'5 and says its too small inside for him to drive comfortably as a DD

...so I went out and bought one

my 5'10 *** fits in it quite nicely.. hehe

I waited for the 350Z eversince the demise of the 300ZX. My first thoughts were "it looks better in person, pure sex". This was shortly followed by "God I hate my Integra".

I was pist because my Boss at the time bought one brand new when it came out. Now he pist cause he sold it and got the Cayman S. He says he misses the torque and just the pure sexiness. LOL

I was waiting for the Z, since the very first concept and other renditions, I was so excited to see it in person. I was still suprised they let me test drive one.

 

It's mine! I can't believe it.

 

I disliked them but the first time I saw one up close in silverstone, it was what I wanted.

In my defense, at the time I was driving an '88 M3 and E46 convertible, so I was in a beautiful car already.

the reason i didn't like it then was bc i was in a lifted truck and thats all i liked at the moment, lol
traded the truck in for the 07 and i love it.

 

I remember reading an article about the Z coming out in 03 - i believe it was car and driver? but i dont remember....

lol, how much can change in 5 years

First time i drove one, i said to myself, too bad for who will actually buy this car because i am gonna joy ride the heck out of this thing since i came here with no money (was in college visiting a car dealership. Was the 05 anniv).

Now i have one (05 enthu), i am tired of people dissing it, not as fast as...blah blah... I still love my foreign 2 door. Especially when people are like oh, lets take your car and i'm like, sure, get in the trunk ha ha ha

 

Watching the news, I saw a Z in a car accident in which some teens were killed. My first thought was, "Damn, someone crashed a Porsche; oh wait, no that's the car that looks like a Porsche. Always get tricked by that thing". LOL
