Go away. Much appreciated.

it probably needs an adjustment.

For me I only have issues going from 2nd to 3rd and occasionally hitting 5th instead.. going straight down into 6th from 5th should not be a problem at all unless ur really taking ur time between shifts but u still shoudnt have to force it..

I get the same deal when trying to shift into 6th when i run through the top of third or so then into 6th.

I have to put it into 5th (clutch still in) then into 6th. IDK doesnt bother me too much but i figure im going to blow the tranny shortly so no going to worry about it. (Lets hope this forth one is charm)

Maybe try an aftermarket shift ****. I think it makes a huge difference in shifting feel.

4-6 or 5-6 shift is one of the easiest I have. I agree with everyone else that you need to get it looked at ASAP.

Good luck.

switching into 6th should be one of the easiest, if not the easiest....should feel almost no resistance.....maybe you're not moving the shifter straight down from 5, and angling back towards 4 instead of straight down.....if not, get it checked out asap!

Default ******update*********

I took my car in today and addressed this issue. I told them that the gears were fine prior to the recall. I also spoke with a techician (he happened to over heard the conversation)who told me that the "transmission shift position plate" would need an adjustment after the slave cylinder recall (due to dropping the engine/transmission). This techician told the service advisor that he would check/fix my car and to assign the job to him. After 2-3 hours I picked up my car and they said that the transmission shift plate was the problem. My car shifts nice and smooth (1-6) without any resistance now. This is my first time dealing with "Jason Randle" at Serramonte Nissan, and he is alright with me.
