Default Creative idea for the empty Nav compartment?

I didn't get the NAV in my Z... Lately, I'm beginning to notice that the middle compartment looks more and more empty. Kinda like a hollow hole. Not really big enough to store CD's... I was thinking of sticking a air freshener in there, but I'd rather have more utility than that.

What are some of the creative things you have done with your compartment?

iris, you mean you let people have stuff in your Z? I don't even allow water in the car!!

I use the "clubby" for my phone.

Peace

I like to keep my .38 snubby in there. (In case of a random car-jacking or road rage)

Marhot im definitely with you! I've had so many bad experiences with food/drink in my first car, and i have defintely made the rule that no food/drink will ever be consumed in the Z! Not even my g/f is allowed to have food...(I think Im still getting on/off silent treatment for that one ) In fact, Im so pressed to keep my baby clean, that I literally use every compartment in the Z (the two behind the seats, the space to the left of where the bose system WOULD have gone, and the front console to store napkins and towels in case for rain or other stuff like dust!
But...a nice 5 or 6" screen with DVD wouldnt hurt for the front console though one day

Default I hear ya....

drew703... I have napkins and towels in all my 'clubbies' too!
I have an extra towel in the back.

...but it is starting to bother me because it is white. So now I'm looking for black towels to match the interior color.

I'm I too obsessed ??

Peace

I too keep napkins and tissue in the compartment. I also have a new find that I learned about on zchickz, keep baby wipes in your Z, if they are gentle enough for a baby's azz, then they are good enough for my baby Z! Good for spot-cleaning, bird poop, and bug guts so far. I made the mistake of bringing my coffee to work today, and yup, coffee on my nice frost leather seats, baby wipes did the trick nice and clean now........thank goodness! And i have the seat-back cargo thingy for all my extra CD's phone etc.

*I did like the NOS control thing snuggled in there that was posted in the pictures from Limerock, hmmmmmmmmmm, food for thought*

I did the same as Sam did and installed the Delphi XM receiver in the NAV compartment - I can't recommend this enough.

Hmmm, I have heard of 2 things I would consider putting into this spot. I really like the thought of putting a screen in the spot for a DVD player. At first, I wanted to keep the stock appearance, but now I am thinking more and more about going with an aftermarket headunit.

I also will entertain the idea of putting gauges in there for the possible addition of FI. I don't like the fact that the gauges would be in an open and closed condition as far as being able to check them. Now this location might be good in a sercurity sense, which is also important.

Guess I am still undecided, heh.
