wow, you mean you didn't know that adding a huge system like that would add weight to your car and slow you down?

doesnt 10lbs=1hp. or something like that, if thats the case this 200lbs setup cost you 20hp.

besides it looks really bad, plus you lost all that cargo room.

100 pounds = .1 in the 1/4 mile

with a 20 gallon fuel tank, and fuel weighing 6.5 pounds a gallon, you have up to a 130 pound difference in just fuel weight. 200 pounds isn't that much. It's like having a passenger. But that box is nowhere near 200 pounds.

It's real simple, keep them if you want the bass, take them out if you don't.

The difference you'll see in performance is going to be incidental on a track in terms of actual gains or loss, the perception of performance is going to depend on what you want to believe.

Personally I would prefer going with 1-3 10's in a custom box under the rear strut brace and being able to keep the cargo space for other stuff.

I have 1 10 in a smaller box and I am more than happy with it, no extra weight felt and just enough bass. This would be my suggestion.

i run a 10'' polk momo in a Zenclosure under the strut bar. sounds great and had plenty of room in the back and a little room in the front of it for things I dont want rolling around.

works out perfect.

rule of thumb. Performance never goes together with comfort. I mean you gotta pick "show" or "go"
