i always where flip flops in the summer i think its damn near impossible to drive with them on lol. If you have moderately big feet that is. I just slip them off as soon as i get in and drive barefoot.

I drove barefoot to florida, and have been pulled over bare-footed. I grew up on a farm, what can I say? If you don't like your shoes, or feel uncomfortable, just go barefoot.

For me, easier to heel-toe (but not really "heel" anymore): Big toe/2nd toe on brake, pinkie toe/4th toe on accelerator.

I always drive with sandals when going short distances. But I must admit it can be fatally dangerous if the sandal is stuck under the brake pedal and trapped by the carpet.

You must have monkey feet. I guess in your case that would be called toe-toeing?

your asking to Die driving with flip flopers! One time I was wearing flips with an automatic car and my flip got stuck on the throttle and I almost hit a semi-truck. I will never drive with flippers again! On the other hand, I am pretty good at driving 6-speed barefoot.

Yeh i take them off and drive bare foot... how can you get booked for this? Wouldn't you simply slip them back on by the time you pull over, the police officer pulls over, gets out of their car and walkes over to yours :S

I love sandals and/or flip flops but since ive had my last car with a 5 speed in it, its almost impossible...

I mean you can do it but like you said, ive had a few times with my flip flop got caught underneath the gas or clutch...scary.

get some pumas!

That's all I wear on my feet in the summer is flip-flops. For longer drives I'll go barefoot

No issues ever (knock on wood)

The title lead me to believe that this thread was about Hillary Clinton.

Orangeflash, I used to live in Apple Valley, in the Spring Valley Lake area. Has your car been sandblasted to death yet? I miss all of the motorcycle riding down there.
