just wanted to share my pain. yesterday morning a delivery truck that was parked next to me backed out and turned his wheel to soon. the front bumper ( which is like a steel hook) dug right into my drivers side door. left a big dent and two holes where the intrusion bar is in the door. $1350.00 for new door shell and install.
it was a Tastykake truck and while we are waiting for the cops the guy says he feels real bad and offered me a cake. i had to walk away from him before i really lost my cool.

Similar incident happened to me. I was in a parking lot, waiting to exit when a guy in a truck backed into me (right rear quarter panel). He initially denied hitting me but it was eventually resolved. My car is in the shop for three days and I am driving a Mitsubishi Galant.

I am sorry, I truly feel your pain, but....
The tastykake part is killing me with laughter. I can just imagine the moment when he offered the cake and the look that you gave him.
However, I really do feel for your Z. Mine got a tiny door ding in a coffee shop parking lot and I nearly flipped.

Don't settle for a case. Go for a lifetime supply of Butterscotch Krumpets and peanut butter TandyCakes. Now that's good eats!!

Sorry about your car, though.
