HELP! My 350z is struggling to start!...
Hi,
I just got my 350z a little less than 2 weeks ago and I have about 130 miles on it. Anyways, the first 2 days I had it, I kinda beat it up, stalling at least 10-15 times. However, I've noticed sometimes when I start up the car, it struggles to turn on. You know like when you have an almost dead battery, your car struggles to start? My car does that sometimes. What can be wrong? And is it possible that this happens because I dont press the clutch all the way down? Please I need help!

Struggling to start?
What do you mean struggles to start? If you turn the key and the starter motor cranks but you car does not start than that is an engine problem. If you turn the key and nothing happens, you don’t hear the starter motor, than you might not be pressing the clutch down fall enough or you have a battery or starter motor problem. The clutch has to be depressed down most of the way to allow the car to start. I would move your seat up so you can easily press the clutch down.

When I turn the key, the starter motor cranks but it takes a while for the engine to start. Much longer than usual. This doesn't always happen, but once in a while. Is it possible, that this could happen if the clutch wasn't fully depressed?

Struggle
If the starter motor is cranking and the motor is not starting I don’t think that it is the clutch. I think that the clutch only allows the starter to work. If the starter is working than the clutch is in for enough. It might be an engine problem. But move your seat up and see what happens. The car should start easily is all is working well.
