I think there should be a secret wave for this site. Like if everyone does the "gnarly, hang ten" hand motion or something like that, you'll know its a poster on my350z.com. and if the other driver doesn't know what you are doing, it would be pretty funny for them, so it's a win/win.

Who's with me?

Hahaha, forcefully point your finger out the window and make a sharp "Z" motion like it's a sword! I like it!

I've only been able to get two reactions from fellow Z drivers. One was a wave in heavy traffic from a dude in a dude in a Interlago's Fire (sp?) Z and the other was a WOT pull together under a bridge followed by a honk and a thumbs up. (It was the sickest sounding thing I've heard in a while )

I have received a lot of attention from non Z drivers though. Like from a Pontiac Sunfire that was apparently trying to race me, but I didn't realize it b/c he was so slow... lol. The only reason I found out he was trying to race was at the next light when he rolled down his window and said "DAMN DUDE! That thing is fast, I couldn't even keep up!" *shrug*

Most Z owners around here are pretty cool and will wave. Have yet to come accross one I would like to give the finger to and tell them they are number one.

most Z's in the bay area think they're waaaaay to cool to acknowledge another one. the car got too accessible for fruitcakes to drive. I get way more attention from freakin corvette owners.

so i have pretty much given up even trying .

i dont try every single one. always check to see for parts and age of the driver. but even then fruitcakes are still present.

I prolly try for like one out of every 25-30, and maybe get 2 for every ten times i try to wave. I pretty much stop givin a **** too.

+1.

If it's a noticably modded Z, you can tell the driver is an enthusiast and is probably checking out your Z also. I'll usually give them a nod, because you know they'll respond. Other than that, I just keep to myself..

50% of the time I get ignored. 50% I don't. Yesterday, I merged onto the highway right behind another Daytona, the guy was cool and waved at me immediately - stuck his hand out of the window and everything.

Other times, some Zs are so frigin tinted I can't even tell who's doing what there.
