Default Repainting A new Z

Has anyone had a new paint job put on their cars ?
I was thinking about buying a Black Z
and putting my own Liquid Silver paint job on it, Because you need a Black base to start with anyway for the Silver, so I'd be half way there, and would only have to put on the Silver over the black.
That silver is expensive ! But I like the look.
Has anyone done this yet.

Not worth it. They can't just paint over the orignal black to use it as a base. They also have to pull the engine to make it look good. That is obviously expensive. You would spend much less money by just buying it orignal.

Yeah you are right on that, That black would not work as a base coat.

I was thinking if they don't come out with that color, what the best base color car would be to do it, Maybe get the bright Chrome Silver, Mask like crazy, and Put a coat of Sealer on the main body, black than blend the Silvers togther in the jambs...

I hope they come out with it,

Its some strange Paint..
