black headlight housing would be a very nice addition, as well as the option of getting leather on the track model

Or atleast a Brembo Brake option for the Touring. I would have been all over that.

since the Z has no adjustment for camber/caster this would require changing half the suspension pieces. It will be interesting to see how they plan to do this without costing tons in retooling

Smile Adjustable Camber - Upper control arm

Hi..

My engineer asked the same qustion.. What would a Simple camber only part be worth, he can knock out a prototype in four hours. Anyone have a stock Upper control arm to donate to this project. Whoever donates the upper control arm - gets one adjustable pair.

How is that for an offer...

CC: The unknown Engineer.. Ha !

JIC and at least one other comapny already make adjustable camber arms for the 350, thats the easy one since all you have to change is the legnth of a servicable part, but caster will require moving either the lower or uper control arm mounting points forward/backwards depending on which caster change is desired.

Default Sir.. The other link for tuning is already adjustable

There is enough room to adjust the other in the stock unit.. It is a simple cam and lock down..

But the Camber need more adjustment room, or as I've been told.

If you want a fully adjustable, my crew can do that. But please be patient.. As the Engineer said Upper only - simple to dial in, is fine.

Cheers Amy -

Im having trouble understanding what you are saying. "The other link for tuning is already adjustable" are you saying the stock upper control arms are already adjustable?

If nissan will have all new camber/caster for the 2004 Z, why won't they issue TSB for us 2003 Z owner?

well it's only for the front, brembo calipers and 12.01" X 0.87" rotors and the rears rotors are slightly oversized 10.94" x 0.35 but not brembo .

For 2004, the sport-inspired Sentra SE-R receives several body enhancements, including a new front and rear fascia, new headlamp shapes, restyled hood and two new exterior colors. The 2004 Sentra SE-R also upgrades its interior with a standard trip computer and a new charcoal fabric exclusive to SE-R models and adds an impressive Brembo“ Brake Package solely for the Sentra SE-R Spec V model.

You have a very good point Apexi350z

In a long ago Post it was writen "A Nissan factory rep stated " the bounce problem would be fixed in the 2004 Model" "

What about us 2003 Z owner's

CS Touring Auto 17" wheels - Even with Eibach Springs - it can be a pain..

Mr. Krinkov...

I'm sorry for confusing you... But caster changes on the rear, are not a large issue, unless for track only. The primary adjustment to be made is the Camber...

Do you copy?

The way JIC does it is to tweak the two trailing arms, rather than have one Upper Arm do the adjustment. For the geometry of the Z rear it is much easier to adjust one upper arm.

You do have one of those CD's with the service manual in PDF don't you? Read the suspension section....

OC_350Z:

I'd like to see the lumbar support handles on both seats, like the G25 Coupe

Hmm, it seems this whole time you have been refering to camber/caster changes to just the rear wheels and we were refering the front wheels since this is where the complaints of uneven tire wear are coming from, now your starting to make sense
