Dealer add-on - is it BS?

My dealer wants to charge $350 for 'paint sealer' and 'interior sealer'.. What exactly is this and is it total BS?
Seems like it... I told them I won't pay for it because it's not on my original agreement.
Any other bogus dealer charges people getting hit with?
They are also charging $88 for ''inventory tax'... inventory? when the car is only going to be there 1 day....

Don't know about the inventory tax (lthough is sounds shakey) it could be a local tax thing.
The sealer is bogus, and if you have a signed purchase agreement (contract) then you are under no obligation to pay it. The question you have to ask is, would you be willing to walk because of it (the "right" thing to do), do you take the car and try suing in small claims afterwords or do you just let it be.
Tough choices.

Every cent over MSRP (which you can find at nissandriven.com) is a scam. You should have gotten in writing that you are not paying anything above the actual manufacturer sticker price. Tax, tag, title are the only extra amounts. They are making somewhere between $3,000-3,500 profit already from you before they screw with other fees.

IMO, Paint sealer is seldom (dare I say never) worth the cost......And certainly not worth $300+.
Get the car first, and then contact Sal Zaino (www.Zainobrothers.com) - That's all you need to keep your new ride looking GREAT!!!!

Tell the dealer to fes up and call it what it really is - addiitonal profit to them. I'm surprised anyone still does this although in the screwed-up world of auto sales - anything is possible. Seems like if it was not in your original contract you should be able to get out of it.
Wasn't there someone that said Dealership paint sealant is as follows:
Two guys putting on wax and 2 guys right behind them taking it off. 5 minute job he said. If that's worth 300 bucks then I'm Jesus.
