Touring. 36K fewer miles for only $500 more. Like someone said before...no brainer.

I would think that $19K would be a good price for anything with 12K miles
on the clock. Could be considered hardly broken in....well almost!

I wouldn't buy the 03 since some have transmission problems. That's why when I was looking for my I was looking at 04-06 ones. I end up purchasing a 04.5 touring two weeks ago.

i think it really depends what you are trying to do with the car. touring has VDC (i am almost certain track does not but please correct me if i am wrong), and because it has VDC it automatically prevents you from performing any suspension mods, due to the fact that it will mess up your VDC system. on the track edition this is not a problem. however, if you live in an area where it snows, or rains, or where any other sort of heavenly precipitation is found, VDC will assist during times of imminent peril (aka crashing because you have no traction...).

when i bought mine i was completely unaware of this fact, though i am glad i have VDC now because i am moving to state college, pa where it snows allllllllll the time. great.

i would never buy a car with rims or any other after-market parts because this just confirms that whoever owned it liked to push the car hard, and probably on a regular basis.

Lol 99% of the time it's true but sometimes there is a chance that some fellow just didn't like racing or beating the car but just liked modding it... just because you see some aftermarket rims on it you don't have to be like "ohh **** that car was raped hard" gota inspect it for abnormal wear and tear then make your conclusion.

Why does that matter, the vast majority of us have the same tranny that 04-06 come with.

1... if you have tranny problems: you can't shift!... even my mother says that and she drove a z in her day

2... decide what's more important, miles or features on a car... imo get whichever car is in better shape. That'll probally be the touring... then just put money into aftermarket stuff. I may have ray wheels on my track but it's still stock and i am still getting aftermarket wheels and such.

Why don't you (op) post up the locations of those Z so us Wichitan go there to check them out for you instead?
