a-f'in-men, down here in miami i see old people driving and they are practically eating their steering wheel trying to look into the distance. its sad that our public transportation isnt that great and some old peopel are forced to have to drive but damn man, peoples lives are at stake, they really should re-evaluate senior citizens driving privledges.

PS. glad your ok, sorry about the car man =/

If we drive enough its gonna happen, no fatalities is good. Maybe the body shop will get you taken care of quickly since they know you.

Whoa! Idiotic drivers like that are everyone's nightmare. Very sorry to hear about this and hope that you take the car to the best shop in town for an estimate while the lady's insurance company works out the details. Do NOT take it to their "recommended" shop no matter what they tell you.

Post the "all done" pics when the car is back. I hope you don't have long-term pain in your arm or elsewhere from this. Best of luck to you.

Haha, what a sh1tbag person for her to try and shift blame. +1000000 to you for being honest to her face and the popo.

Also, +1 to senior citizens getting retested to drive. They're almost worse than teens driving while talking / texting on their god damn cell phones.

Damn man, I'm just glad ur ok. This almost happened to me the other day. Some people just don't pay enough attention to their surroundings.

Do you have the side airbags installed in your Z? And if so, did they deploy?

they should come up with some more rigorous tests to obtain liscenses and some other criteria for keeping them.

So its in the report its 100% her fault

In regards to old people driving, I think they should be retested.

Doug Stanhope put it best.

He can drive after 2 light beers and have a blood alcohol of 0.9 and get plowed by an old man driving a Buick with cataracts and Parkinsons and the old guy dies!!

The paper the next day reads "Drunk Driver Kills War Hero"

Because if drunk driving is all about impaired reaction times, these old farts are bombed all the time!!!!! they have the hand eye coordination of my dead dog!!!!

On another plus side, my friend is out of town for a week and gave me her Benz to run around in instead of a smelly rental! (I know its an old mans car)

Werd. I'm almost more scared when I see veteran plates than a "N" sign on the back of a car. At least new and stupid drivers will have decently fast reactions should something happen. We had to take my grandparents off the road because they just couldn't really deal with the mental load of driving anymore. Dangerous stuff.

An experienced drifter would have been able to avoid the collision.
