No tinted window on both side of the driver windows, wtf who ever came up with this law needs to be shot. Not to mention u can also get a ticket for no front licence plate too.

Good. I hate tint. It's the reason I can't see thru the SUV or Minivan in front of me. It's dangerous and looks ghetto.

OK elbee, whatever you say. Tell you what, go to Arizona in the middle of summer and let your tintless car sit in a parking lot for an hour. You tell me how ghetto it is then.

Tint is "Dangerous" WOW!

I guess everything is "dangerous" these days. I don't know why you would want to look through the car in front of you anyway? Around it maybe, but through it?

Down here in FL, it's a must. Especially with a black car, the interior just bakes all year round. It's still hot even with tint, but it does help some.

Ohio only allows 50% tint, which is so light you can't even tell it's tinted.

After speaking with a few police officers in California, the general consensus was that as long as they can see in, you will most likely not be bothered for having tint on the fronts. I use 35%, cuts out ample light and seems to keep the heat down somewhat. I have had tint on all my cars/trucks the past 15 years of driving and never once had any problems. I know the law varies from state to state.

Dangerous is the tailgating that you do, and I bet that's why you want to see through the car in front of you. Back off and you will be able to see around it.

You hate tint? Pretty strong emotion there for a simple laminate. Yes - live in Texas and see how ghetto turns into ghettofabulous.

It's functional in temperatures that average around 99 during the day.

Regarding the danger: get off people's a$$. By now you should know that you need to stay away from vehicles with a higher ground clearance than a Z ...

As far as the "looks" go - on a black car, tint adds a finishing touch that gives it uniformity and sleekness. Seeing that the pillar between the rear quarter windows and front windows is covered with a glossy piece of black plastic, I think there is no better way than to get rid of the choppy appearance of clear glass, black glossy plastic, and clear glass. I have a SS Track - the tint made it look only better. But, I guess this is a matter of taste.

With tint you can avoid situations like these when people ask, "who's that dumbass in the driver's seat?" if you have tint ... people won't be able to see you, elbee ...

When we're driving our Z's with tinted windows through the ghetto it offers more privacy and a sense of security because the thugs won't be able to pinpoint where we are inside the car and pop a cap in our azz.

OH YEAH! I HATE THE FRONT LICENSE PLATE! What pisses me off even more is that they just drill holes into your bumper w/o asking! That's Texas though ... Car manufacturers need to start making front bumpers that have a recessed area for the plates.

PEACE!

You have to tint your windows in Cali if you have black leather interior. I had to tint mine 5% because of my skin cancer. My doctor wouldn't give me a permit for my tint All of my cars in the past I tinted the windows very dark since I'm fair skinned.

I want windows where I can control the tint electronically. Tint during the day then go back to clear at night.

I think the reason the law exists is to keep police officers from getting shot. If I were a cop I'd be more apprehensive coming up to a car with tinted windows.

Most SUVs and minivans come with all windows behind the front seats tinted, but the driver windows normally are not. Well, beyond the standard manufacturer tint (green for u.s., brown for asian cars)

That's why they should have a law that you must roll you window completely down when you get pulled over, rather than forbiding nice dark tint.

While I'm not gay (my girlfriend will attest to that :-) I have to wonder why you use "gay" to describe something stupid or bad? Don't you think that's a bit offensive, or at least shows pretty poor word choice?

Not that you're the only one; I'm not picking exclusively on you; I've heard/read other people do it as well. But I thought this was 2003, not 1903. I think you can do better.

My thoughts exactly. It is offensive to describe something that you think is not "cool" as "gay."

PEACE!
