180ish on an R1, 140ish before I backed off in my Z. I say "ish" because I was only glancing at the speedo.

Thats it? My gauge was pinned. Of course this was on a 3 mile straight privately owned. 8200rpm in 5th gear with a 93 lsd trans is suppose to be around 175. yes it was kinda scary but my car was not stock.

 

06 kawai 600 with minor mods will do 175.


Topped my 94 cbr900rr out at 195ish. I had no more gear left in it as on those 6th gear is to tall. It was modded though

 

I see not a lot of people have taken these cars very fast. It could be these cars inspire fear, well let me tell you not everyone should do it. What is the limit for the Z, I am absolutely amazed I did 150 on a 2003 touring edition it had at least
10 or 20 mph more. I'm mostly stock, oh and good tires make all the difference
the z is legit rock steady at any speed.

LOL , you will need around 140 HP at the wheel to get 175 on a 600 , not minor mods. The 900rr will need close to 200hp at the tire to hit 195mph. Remember , indicated and reality are completely different.

 

did 145 in my srt4 caliber and got pulled over for it, ill have to dig up the ticket and post it up here, fastest in the z is 130 on the highway coming down the mountain handles like a dream

155 in a Dodge Daytona (boost above stock) on the front straight at Portland International Raceway (and it was still pulling when I said "that's enough.")
140 in my 350Z on the front straight at Pacific Raceways.
140+ in a Formula Ford on the downhill run between 9 and 10 at Laguna Seca (top of 4th).
150+ in a Formula Mazda at the exit of the Carousel at Sears Point (top of 5th).

I don't drive fast on the street -- too many stupid people and too many chances to make a fatal mistake. I leave the fast driving for the track.
