I usually average 27 on freeway trips to cali , i feel its perfectly acceptable. Oh ya , cruise set to 80

Been getting around 21 mpg in all city driving.

I see everyone's point. I also will get 35 MPG on the highway if I reset, but will point out that You can be hitting the gas hard at high speeds and still get this good number. If you 'granny shift' in town with reasonable traffic and drop it in 5th or 6th on slight downhills, you can get around 23 MPG. If I go wot mixed with granny, I get 19. I know most everyone knows, so no need to flame. I don't pay attention to this anymore, but mostly pay attention to how many miles per tank...that's more valid..
I'm in Canada, and get 400 Km per tank in the city if I entirely granny shift, but then it ain't no fun.....
