3 cars in dealers.
Yesterday my dealer had 3 pre sold Z's sitting in their showroom. They had donot touch signs all over them. They must have gotten of the ship some how as they weren't there before the strike ended. Came home and looked up their vin numbers. They are all JNIA numbers. Last four are, 2403,2515,3499. I am waiting for mine, 3690. I have a delivery date of Oct.22nd.

I received my vin number and a date of Oct.22 but my question is. when is a vin number given. Is it when car is completed ? When it goes on the ship or what ?

NOW, I be Z'in !
This afternoon I picked up a CS Touring 5AT, No Nav, No Splash, No Aero, all the other goodies, AND do you believe in miracles???? at MSRP minus $500. Someone slap me up side the head and bring me to!!! Not only that, but when I called PeopleFirst to bump my loan up a couple grand to cover Washington's 8.8% p l e a s u r e tax, they said OKAY and by the way we will also lower your rate from 5.39 to 4.99%. CRIKEY!
All in all, a very SILVER letter day for me! Color me stoaked!

I took your advice and emailed Zisme. He got back to me the next day with:
"Vin# JN1AZ34E63T0056XX
Estimated delivery date is November 11. Hopefully we can beat that by a few days. Hang in there."
Please add my information to the soup and thanks for keeping this database up. And Thank You Zisme for the fast response and the good news.
Note the 56XX VIN. That means that a whole bunch of cars are going to be delivered over the next few weeks.

Clears customs and is ready for port installation activities and transit on October 30th.
Should arrive in Northern VA sometime a week or two after, so estimated delivery date is now sometime around November 9th-16th.
