You have a choice to race or not race so therefore it is not entrampment. Its like running a stop sign when a cop is hiding, they did not make you run it you chose to run it.

 

I have seen it. It is a blue 350z with rims and tint. I do not think it is turbo though. It was stopped next to the Arboreutum attending to an accident around 12:30am Saturday night. This was a couple of months ago. I was surprised to see it. I saw an undercover officer step out and call in. A couple minutes later another officer pulls up and they sit there for a good half hour until tow truck gets there and cleans the mess.

I see it everyday since I work for them It's Greddy Twin Turboed Z DB Z. It was seized from a street racer who put nearly $30000 on aftermarket parts. That poor 27 yrs old owner cried and begged on his knee when he got his car taken away. It's now one of CMPD HITS unit's patrol car and I know the officer who is directly assigned for. Unlike the rumor, he never trys to race another vehicle to pull him over. It is entrapment and yes it is illegal.
We have Supercharged cobra mustang that rolls out with Z that brings in about 40 traffic tickets a day.

 

Think those pigs had better things to do than mod cars that seize. LOL

And glad to see our tax money is going to custom paint jobs than paying for more law enforcement officers.

Looks like the PIG has a new ride to the doughnut shop,of course the good side is he or she will eat so many(over time),that it will take the jaws of life to get their lard a** out of the car.

 

There is a video of it. They have that and a blue 05 Mustang. It doesn't "try" to get you to race it; it drives down the highway waiting for someone to race it. When they pull up next to it then honk and go, the cop turns the lights on and pulls it over. It's not entrapment because he didn't MAKE you race him. It was your own stupidity.

Yes. It is turbo'd. They took it from a street racer. All the parts are stolen. They impounded it and use it as an undercover.

 

This happened to me in Texas. I chose not to race and was still pulled over for 5mph over the speed limit.

In AZ even our speeding cameras are set to provide 11MPH grace before they flash.
