GT-R = Japanese Vette substitute. If I wanted a Vette, we would have saved for one - oh, how does that HUGE V8 Vette motor keep your MPG'S? Is it too expensive to drive?

Actually the LS1/2/3 series motor is very thrifty with gas (assuming you're not mashing the pedal). They can get high 20's on the highway.
