Got Hit today, pix inside!!! YaY!
I hate dealing with insurance agencies. they are all theives. just makes you want to scream, I know it...I've had my fair share.
guess I was lucky, chick pulle out of her parking spot and hit me. scratched up her bumper (white toyota 4runner). but didn't do a single thing to my car. I was expecting a fender to be smashed at least. I was pissed, and she was scared..."I'm so sorry mister, I didn't see you there, oh, I'm so sorry" all while crying. I wiped her white paint off my beautiful red Z, and said "my car is fine, no worries."
but I had a miata that got backed over by a 3/4 ton truck....that was BAD!
Good luck to you. and I hope it gets worked out quickly.

Shoulda got the cops involved..... you dont watch much peoples court do you?
i had someone rear end me last year and i was on the phone with the cops like 2 mins after i got rear ended. if its not your fault you have nothing to worry about. if they woulda ticketed you and you can prove they were wrong then the will drop the ticket and give her one..hope things work out for you, damage looks kinda bad.

You should over look your insurance when you have a 1,000$ deductible. B1tch in the X5 must of gave up some fine pootang for you to let it slide like that. Should of gotten her insurance, pictures, police report.
Tell her you want a BJ for every dollar you have to pay your insurance company.
thats about 3 years of head.
Seems fair to me
....seriously though, you should have made her pay for it. Unless you were pulling into a spot as she was pulling out, I'm pretty sure this is her fault.
even if you were.. I still think its her fault.

This whole story kind of baffles me. Insurance can't say something is your fault because the "height" of a vehicle. It's the other drives fault for ultimately hitting you. You not calling the cops is the reason your insurance company is saying "eff j00." They're right though. The second you left that accident scene without calling the fuzz it became your fault because of your stupidity.
Have fun paying for the retarded amount of damages. Door, fender, front bumper, etc. That's WELL over 1,000. Hope you roll deep.

Wow, its easy to get dozens of mostly off topic useless opinions around here.
If you take it to a bodyshop they will most likely handle the insurance administration for you. I'd recommend finding a shop that will work directly with your insurance company for payment. They'll do the estimate and repair and bill the insurance company directly. This crash looks pretty minor so it may not be an issue, but the body shops will often find "hidden damage" that the need additional money for after they do their original estimate. They will contact the insurance company and usually get it approved and paid for.
I woult not recommend just accepting their payment. That's their angle. They try to pay you off and close the case asap. Cash talks with most people, so it works most of the time. But if you accept their $2500 check (or whatever it is) based on the bodyshop estimate, then they get to working on it and determine the door hinges and pillar are messed up and need another $500 you're screwed. Maybe not totally screwed, but definately a pain in the *** trying to get the case reopened for more funding.
In my opinion I do not prefer the mass production shops like Maaco or Service King. They are mega chains that are profitable because they've figured out how to have low cost people and materials and move a whole lot of transactions fast. Find a shop that does more than just quick and dirty insurance crash repair. A shop that does restoration work usually has some quality people that know what they're doing. A restoration shop will usually not take insurance cases (too much administrative BS) and a megashop will not do restoration work (too slow & expensive). You gotta find a good place in the middle.

Ok guys, I had to go see a geico adjuster before I could do anything, Geico doesnt take estimates from body shops just there adjusters. They gave me almost 3,500 in repairs since the Front bumper, fender, door, emblems, rear quarter and rear bumper all need to be redone. The rear bumper, door and front fender need to be replaced totally. The door is screwed since the safety reinforcement is bent. Also they gave me 350$ included for my Clear bra with install which needs to be removed and replaced. They even gave me 100 for my alignment that I had done last Friday .
Overall im happy being that my front and rear bumpers looked like **** anyway and needed to be repainted.
Im taking it to a private shop thats a AAA shop. They do great work from Classic car restorations to just everydays cars, they dont work on junk, either new or classic. There work is top notch, my friend had a totalled Camry brought there and it looks amazing now.
Going to post somemore pics of my car that the adjuster took here in a bit.

they tried stealing you bumper with your wheels still on your car wtf. I have taken my front bumper off plenty of times i just can't imagine how they would be able to do that without taking the front wheels of completely.
