Unhappy Brick wall-1 / my 350z-0

So, I have had my 2003 350z since last Friday. Now last night (Wednesday), I backed right smack into a wall...brickyard hits brickwall....brickwall for the win!

I dont even own a camera so no pics guys but its a deep scuff the size of a cereal bowl on the corner of the passenger side...deep enough it left a hole about the size of my pinky...so...

Some bondo and some paint, I got a friend with a shop.

This shouldnt be a real serious or expensive fix right? Really sucks though, just a dumb dumb mistake. Car only has 15,000 miles on it and has never seen snow.

I decided it was too nice for me so I customized the bumper...drrrrrr....

See if something like this happened to me I would just upgrade to aftermarket bumper but that also thats the mod bug haha.

Well, I plan on doing a full body kit buuuut i figured it would look stupid to have just an aftermarket bumper and stock frontend and sides...maybe not but it seemed like it wouldnt be the best idea till I could afford to do it all at once.

Now im gonna garage the car for the winter ( Illinois ) so I will have a good 5-6 months prolly atleast while its garaged to save up for the body kit...maybe I will wait to fix it and just drive as is...not too bad looking honestly and its gonna be in the garage in another two months so...

But maybe I bumped my head cause your theory makes MUCH more sense then fixing the stock one, though I will eventually fix it just incase I ever need it for something but...you know...mod bug eh? Sounds highly infectious...

Haha...wish I could say that but no, it was just one of those things where I didnt think to check. To my defense it was a two foot high brick enclosure...Didnt think it extended as far as it did. Was just really dumb on my part but thanks for being concerned about my gender..

You just backed right into it?

Got in your car, backed up, hit wall? That's how it went? I'm just trying to get this straight because I don't know how the f*ck a person does this?

Well as for the woman remark, he was making a pretty obvious sexist remark that you would expect a woman to do this more so then a man, in that case, I wish I was a woman....would be more forgivable.

On the other note of "hopping in the car, backing straight into a wall"...yeah, it was that darn simple. Checked my mirrors, looked behind me over my shoulder and vrooooom cruuuunch....damn midgit wall. Now, if it was the size of that wall I JUST mighta seen it for sure. And dont think this is so crazy because once in your entire life your gonna have a WTF moment involving your vehicles, everyone does...maybe not this airheaded but trust me, you'll do something just about as damned stupid and then wonder how you even did it for months...

Well, at the very least, I respect the fact that you don't have a problem admitting it and saying it was that simple. Meh, we all learn from some form of mistakes we've made.

Somebody that's honest... what a change of pace... most everytime something happens to a car on this lately its the cars fault, or the tires fault. Thanks for owning up to it. WOW HONESTY!
