Car and Driver assistant dies in 350Z
I just read in the new Car and Driver that Michael Lapprich a technical assistant died in a one car accident in the long term 350Z. Anyone have any details of how it happened?

I just found a small articel:
A Pittsfield Township resident, Michael Lapprich, 22, died early Wednesday morning after he apparently rolled his car in the York Meadows subdivision off Willis Road, according to Cmdr. Anderson Brown of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department.
The department received a call minutes before the accident from a witness who observed Lapprich’s 2003 Nissan driving recklessly and at high speed on Emerson Drive, which is approximately a quarter-mile south of Willis.
"As she was on her cell phone with the dispatcher, she heard the crash and then came upon the accident," said Brown.
Neither alcohol nor drugs is known to have been a factor in the accident, Brown said.
"Looks like he was just driving too fast to control the vehicle," he said.
Lapprich reportedly struck a culvert and rolled the car multiple times along the shoulder of the road.
Lapprich was pronounced dead on the scene.
"The roof was crushed or caved in enough to cause serious damage to the head," said Brown.
Lapprich lived not far from the accident site, said Brown, but it is not known if he was headed home at the time of the crash

Actually the crash test results I've seen have been very good for both the driver and the passenger. When you hit a culvert and roll over nothing is real good.
In a frontal the driver got a 5 star and the passenger got a 4 star. Also got a 5 star on the side. It also scored high in roll over restince. Really it did about as good as any car made.

When you roll a car at high speeds, multipule times, all the crash tests go out the window. It saddens me to see a life lost, due to a car accident, drive safe all

very sad
the 5 star crash rating doesn't count for much when you drop a car on it's roof repeatedly. I am a little surprised that a big name magazine employee would drive so recklessly...but I am sure that pushing the limist tempts us all (me included)!
Have fun cruising your Zs, drive fast...but push the envelope at the track, not on the public roads.
