Default Mechanic assistance?

I took my '03 touring into a Tire's Plus for a window motor and regulator. Aside from not fixing the regulator problem and tearing up my tint "which they promise to fix this week", I suspect that my car was abused. I know it's cardinal sin number 1 to not mark the milage when you leave a car to a mechanic, but I didn't.
I am OCD and i know every creak and rattle the car has. As soon as i got in, the car reeked of burnt clutch. I mean it was nasty. I could barely believe it. Coupled with that. I have a ticking noise from the front right wheel well. It happens upon engaging 1st and 2nd gear and also turning. I can only assume this is a CV joint.
I think either a) someone took the car on a joyride and pushed the heck out of it, or B) someone really really really really sucks at driving manual. Either way, I'm beside myself with anger and don't know what I should do. I figure there are some people here with similar stories and would know the steps i should take to get this resolved.
As much as i'd like a thread about how badly we want to demand this or that, I'm really looking for legitamate advice. So my thanks in advance...

..honestly, that's my biggest fear sometimes. Because, I let my COUSIN drive my tC and it came back smelling like clutch. Needless to say, I NEVER let him drive any of my cars anymore. So, I've been traumatized since then.

I ones went to the stealership to get my oil changed and came out with screw driver dents all over my dashboard, needless to say I flipped out and they ended up getting me a new dashboard and a complete refund for the oil change )

I watch my car like a hawk when it comes to handing over the keys, I check everything from the ODO to the multitude of papers that I strategically place around the car to see where the mechanics went etc.

I don't see where there is much you can do.

You might try talking to manager & express your concerns calmly.

yea. do you think an uzi would help?

It's just sad. It's sad how 90% of your auto shops will rape you of all your money and then fudge your car up, call it a day, and have nobody to answer to...

$360 . of which they still didnt fix the window. I have what i believe is a faulty switch or a faulty "pressure sensor"? causing the window to roll itself halfway down when i try to roll it all the way up. it is also malfunctioning when i close the door. I told them all of this and told them to "fix the window". I guess i'm the a**hole.

I've never done it before, but I watched them re-assembling the door panel and I saw its just a normal freakin torque motor, which i can and will do next time. It was just a lst minute thing. I'm in south florida and its been raining like crazy, hell of a time to get caught with your window down.

There's actually a reset button or something on the window motor that you can do yourself.

There's a DIY around here somewhere.

I figured as much, most things are engineered so the stealerships can make their money by doing minimal work (except german cars, they're engineered to be impossible to work on)

Assuming that you are talking about a 350Z here good luck with that one. If you or your shop can find a CV joint in the FRONT on a 350Z you are doing something special. It's a RWD car therefore no CV on the front.

See my DIY thread. You can do the window repair yourself for a fraction of the cost..

...my son's s-m-a-r-t: he takes off, puts a beating on my beaZt, THEN fills the tank up, and says "I didn't drive it far, dad". He got away with this, till, one day, I decided to reset the trip odometer...He's now frustrated 'cause I
don't lend it to him! I'd say that trip odometer setting is compulsory, if you
wanna keep track of "smart guys" that abuse our trust.
