How many words can u fit in on your custom plate?

I think you must mean letters not words.. In New York, you can have 8 letters on a standard plate but only a max of 6 letters on a Organizational plate as the logo takes up 2 places..

I got 7 letters and 2 spaces on my OH tag. I think there is a max of 7 or 8 continuous letters.

 

mine says PILOTAZ cause I'm a pilot in Arizona , but it coiuld also say "Pilot A Z" as in drive a Z
