Give me 100k to spend on a Z and it'll be gone in a week.

+1 on everything that has been said about this question. If you see, hear, or ride in one you will get a feeling for why our highly modified Z's are our preference to stock or even lightly modified super cars. If you owned one you'd never consider this question. I could have bought a lot of cars for what I have into my Z, but the only one for that amount that is faster, is the Ariel Atom 2 and I much prefer my Z!

Interesting, can you list what you would do? I'm talking logical mods not 20k wheels or a 10k paint job. I can buy 100 sets of tires and store it for future use but I don't think most would do that.

I think Nitrouz is the only one that has claimed to spent over 100k on his car.

It doesn't matter what car i've had I dump A$$loads of $$ into it. That's why I sold my Viper and bought the Z. I was approaching the TT territory and new I was about to dump 30-40K into a car that I paid 74K for. Decided I'd never drive it the way I wanted to and bought a Z. I'm nearly done with my second Z and already looking at "ready to go" cars like the Noble and Gallardo but the first thing I start doing when I get serious about buying a new ride is check forums to see what is possible

Between the original owner and myself there is a manila envelope with over 100K of receipts on my car but the last guy had the bulk of expenses as I'm doing my own wrenching. Well worth it though. I'm having the tranny rebuilt and when all is said and done this should be one of the fastest 5AT Zs on the road. I love this car!!!

Maybe you and I could meet up and run at a track sometime. Where are you located? I'm another 5AT owner, oh yeah, and it's a roadster.

It's a hobby.

And sometimes it's an accident (it adds up very very fast)

Plus customization is always great. If you buy a stock Porsche....500 other old rich douschebags will have the exact same car. Modding a Z will give you a car that NO ONE else has.
Question answered. Lock thread.

100K lol, no way.

Dump 20k into the car, and you will beat exotics.
