Maybe, I'm just paying waaayyy too much attention then huh? I never downshift into first mainly because - I won't do it with a stick, so why start now.

Well its not going to be a perfectly smooth trans, if thats what you want you should find another car. The Z is a sports car and should be driven as such, not to poodle around town in 'comfort mode'. Go get an old Jaguar or Merc sedan...

 

...I totally understand that, that's why I wasn't complaining until someone told me I had to get it checked. ..like I said, I come from a family of clutches.
