Default Wtf? My Car Is Creaking!

Eh...i dont know what the hell is wrong with my car. It seriously feels like its gonna fall apart on me or something. I notice that the car 'creaks' alot and makes alot of erratic noise. Theyre not engine noises or anything but I think its coming from the aluminum body of the car. Anyone have this same problem or know whats up?

My mom is having this problem on her one week old Camry, and apparently, it is a weld somehere. :P They are trying to fix it now, but I have the feeling this may become a Lemo Law vehicle.... Let us know what you find on yours.

The Z is not made of aluminium. Well some parts of it are but the vast majority is steel. To be honest, it wouldn't say much of Nissan if they had managed to make an aluminium 2 seater weigh 3200lbs.

that's one possibility. a more likely case is two pieces of sheetmetal touching each other ever so slightly. you either tap the spot with a soft mallet or pry the two pieces apart. can you reproduce the noise in a consistent situation?... driving up and down a driveway, a certain stretch of road, etc. get someone to listen while you drive or vice versa. it could also be a plastic part rubbing to something else.

hmm...well im going to take my car in tommorow to get my plates. I think I'll just ask em to take a look at it. I guess, Im very careful and meticulous about my car and when it makes these noises for no apparent reason, it makes me very uneasy. Either way, this noise probably isn't something thats horribly wrong right? I guess I just wanted to know if it was a potentially serious problem...

Default Have them look into the axles.

I went ru this crap, & finally had them to change my axles.. It was a long process, but it was dont, they would act like they don't hear it, but I would hear it when I take off.. I mostlywould hear it when I let off the clutch, I think it was a thing with manual tranny folks, but o a search on creaking coming from my car, I started a thread on it & a few people chimed in.
