I think that was driving city-only or something. I drive about 1.5 miles to work (yeah, I'm lazy) so I get there by the time the car is barely done warming up, resulting in some heinously bad gas mileage. However, if the car's already warmed up, it gets about 17 mpg (According to the OBC) even in slow stop-and-go city driving.

putting up 5-9 gallons never gave me proper readings....IN ANY VEHICLE...

thanks for taking the time for that though...i calculate every tank in my truck and my car.....so, i can definitely appreciate the time that went into it.....
I always fill up until the first click, then squeeze it again for one more click. My average fill-up in those three months is 12.094 gallons, too.

And you're welcome.

Okay this is becoming unusual.

This is like the 10th time I have heard someone complain about tire feathering with the 07/08 year models.

I believe I have this "feathering" also but I am unsure. I never get time to examine closely.

The technical term is cupping, and the gist of it is, nissan shipped a bunch of cars with out of spec, or aggressive alignment, and peoples' tires started making lots of noise. Alignments at the dealership fixed some cars but not others, but it turns out some dealerships' alignment machines were out of spec. Usually the symptom is lots of tire roar at 30 mph or so.
