BEST CHEAPEST MODS FOR THE Z
when they say "mods" does it have to be always about power mods?
the Z is already powerful as it is.
if u plan on going to the tracks, it's best to start off with stainless steel brake lines, ceramic pads, and racing brake fluid. rbf600 ftw. they'll keep you lapping hard for a longer period. Once, a typre r civic hatch passed me and put me to shame on the last 2 laps just bcoz of brake fade (stock brembo).
wider rims and tyres / better tyre compound.
lowering springs
UR lightweight pulley set / lightened flywheel also help free up some lost HP.

may not be the cheapest mod...but it will help you achieve the most power from your car correctly...
FULLY BUILT SUSPENSION AND A 2 WAY LSD!!!
and im not talking about buying some cheap spring and strut combo...go the whole 9 and buy a full coilover setup, pillowball fully adjustable suspension arms and a full 2 way mechanical LSD
believe it or not...there is quite a bit of power lost between your engine and the ground (*GASP* NO WAY)...the more the car has to squat or lean in a turn or straight away (squat isnt always bad in a straight away...but im not gonna go into this)...the more power is lost because of the car moving the way it shouldnt...with fully built suspenion...the engine doesnt have to work nearly as hard thru turns and such to keep the car moving forward
or you could just buy a 25 dollar supercharger from ebay and call it a day?
