I painted my oem tow hook and i've looked around and i've seen maybe 1 or 2 pictures at the max of what it looks like. But the problem im having no matter which way i turn it it always tightens up at the same angle. never perfectly up and down or side to side. Is that the norm, or am i just not getting the tightening sequence right?
the angle is like a backward slash.
how do you like the look of the tow hook? i made it match the red of the TE TA's....so it doesn't look bad i think.
I absolutely look mine. I had it powered coated anodized blue to match the hose fittings on my ARC oil cooler. It adds a nice touch. I always get people asking about it...

Yeah, "What is that funny thing sticking out of the bumper?"

What a concept! I was thinking why anyone would bother to paint a tow hook that just sits in the tool compartment anyway. I couldn't believe it when I realized that folks just kept them permanently mounted.
Hey, mine is powder coated red and it looks great in the front of my car WHEN I"M AT THE TRACK.
Yeah, but you install it at the track in case the car needs to be towed, not cause it looks cool. Driving on the street with your tow hook seems a bit to "Honda Civic" for me.
Yeah i hear what your all saying. I dont drive around all the time. The Z's only out on them nice bright sunny days or cool crisp nights. So people dont see it daily. But i do take it off here n there.
