im not saying this fd will solve me of all these problems but im just saying it will be something different. also i want a car i dont see everytime I drive around the block lol.
What difference does it make if some kid owns a Z? It has zero effect on you or your car.

Can't "compete"? How? Some silly "gangsta teen stoplight race?

If you can't remember the "random little problems" then they must not have been big enough to trade the car in.

I like seeing Z's on the road. Makes no difference if I see 1 or 100...I am glad to see them.

BTW, the above was just comments, not flames.

guys... well i guess this is thread is taking a wierd turn... most of these threads dont happen like this. lets go through the story.

Guy came up from virginia to show me the car, since he had some buisness in jersey anyways. Suspension is slightly shot, he had all the parts that needed replacement so i wasnt worried. all i can say is the car is fast as f@ck... got everything to where i would feel comfortable... this is where the story goes strange...

I originally started looking at FD's cause my gf used to have one and I loved the little bastard. I ended up getting my Z in late 2003, and my gf got her Z in mid 2004 cause she loved mine so much. I totaled her first Z.. (not my fault... but thats a different story) she then proceeded to try to kill bambi on the highway and pwned... that would be her second accident in the Z where she came out COMPLETELY unscratched but the car would be totaled.

So at this point she sees the Z as a car where it protects her and is reliable and she loves it literally with all her heart.. After starting this thread i started having my doubts, and I thank everyone for thier comments. My gf was literally almost in tears and we drove the car to see the guy one more time as she believed it was the final drive in the car... and then i realized damn... i love this car also... sent the guy home unsatisfied and upset for all the time spent and decided to drive my car like i stole it till it one day blows up on me.

Everyone flame away.... i kept the Z and I see myself in it for another 2-3 years atleast... 75k miles and still going strong.

********* another thing, holy shizza... our resale values are completely going down the toilet lately... sigh makes me wanna cry lol*****

Glad you kept the Z. The FD with the LS engine sounds like a interesting 2nd car, but, DD, not so much.

yah that was the exact car ^^ its actually pretty sick... little details that needed to be taken care of... i think with about 3-5k of money it would be perfect like 100%.

ive decided until my gf decides if she wants a house next year or not im gonna stick with my Z and at which point i will be test driving the evo 10 and the 370z to see which i like. ^^

Wow, all these people leaving the Z. It must be junk. Maybe I should get rid of the "junk" too. I'm thinking of upgrading to a Mustang GT Shelby.

The Z is safe, that is for sure. Ive seen some nasty aftermaths, and the driver usually is ok. (unless the car was ripped in half or something crazy, saw that twice, both fatal if I remember correctly.)
