Default My 2005 350Z is running so strong and reliable I'm thinking about...

My 2005 350Z is running so strong and reliable I'm thinking about dropping my extened warranty. I've had it since last April 07 I've had no problems should I ride out the factory warranty and drop the extened warranty.

Based on my past three Z-cars one I kept for 11 years (80 280ZX that had very little problems) the others 87 and 91 in between 6-4 years I had very little problem out of them.

ALMOST like the Honda Commerical a broken down Z-car with a Pretty girl that needs help maybe a TRAP!!!!

Depends on how you drive it and mod it or plan to. Extended warrantee is crap, Gold plan $90 deductible is garbage.

Your z will break the very next day that your coverage ends....it is inevitable.

My Z has 40k miles on it fine, no problems, and my boy has one with 120k on it and only thing he has ever changed has been clutch, timing belt, and battery. The experience ive had with my z is great. DOnt think you shoudl b worried about it breaking down. Only thing u should be worried about is how to keep all the chicks off of u

As soon as your drop the warranty, sh*t will start breaking left and right... Then you'll end up trading it for a Yaris and an old 240sx.

An extended warranty is money down the drain unless you use the warranty.

isnt the extended only 7/70? Thats what I never understood. Your getting essentially 10k miles for alot of money. I guess you could have a window motor or something go, but what is likely to go and not be covered under your powertrain?

I bought my 2005 Enthusiast this past May and the previous owner had purchased the extended warranty which runs 6 years 100k miles. To me, it's worth keeping since I didn't purchase it directly. It was just another thing that made my Z purchase a great deal.

Whats a warranty ?? Some places will void it for as little as a pop charger.

I have three cars saying its not my dd, but I took the 350Z out after 1:00am shift change for the Po Po. Drove it on the highway 135mph for about 3-5 miles man that was fun this Car Rocks, even better then my 222hp 91 300Zx performance wise!! Everythings better can't wait to test drive 370Z.

After weighing my odds and taking you guys input I'm dropping the extended warranty and crossing my fingers, personally as long as I do the preventive maintenance this thing will last forever. So I'm rollin the dice and knowing when to holdem. Taking whatever life leads me.

For right now this 350Z Rocks I'm having fun and it still gets more compliments then the law allows, let a STi do that. Eating dinner at a local Mexican diner with my wife a waiter swung by to say "Man that's a nice Z-car". My reply was cooling, " Thanks for noticing", crunching on a my Taco. My wife stated they must have seen us pull up in it. He wasn't our waiter.

The 350Z rocks standing still or at 135mphs. I'm dropping the extened warranty.

So what's your point? lol, the same principle applies, don't continue to pay for the warranty. <<< period.

And what is a smart ***? how do those 2 words go together?
