I didn't wanna bring it up but the whole not being able to afford thing and if you have to ask you can't afford, no... i have a structured settlement that i get money from, every three years since i was 18. I don't brag about it or use it on stupid things normally. When i was 18 my first payment was 30,000.00 and now every three years continue to get more and the payments go up, I work six days a week at a mojor resort in my area and do fine for myself and try to put the annuity payments in the bank and use sparingly. Well i decided on my last payment when i turned 21 and got 40,000.00 i was in a stable position and i wanted a few things. I got my 03 z, a 06 gsxr-750 and a 06 yfz-450 quad, all three used. i have the rest from the last payment saved in the bank toward a house, i get another payment when i turn 24. I just wanna be as smart with my money as possible, but still have fun and live life. and have things i like, i think i deserve it. now i would rather save the money in the bank toward life long things like a house, but will have it if something went wrong. i also have a 99 grand am se 4 door sedan, (pretty mean). lol so i do have another car to that comment also. but anyway problem has been solved, decided to let the wheeler go for now and compromised. and i am not looking to build a racecar right now, been there and the z just needs a little more thats all.
Umm.. yeah. If that isn't bragging, what is it? If you get a structured settlement checks - why do you need advice on how to get money? Have fun with your super-charged Z and bikes and grand-am.. Sorry life is so hard.

I don't really see it as bragging, but your initial post did make it seem like you couldn't afford it.. so now you have to spend time correcting it and saying you can afford it, but just want to be smart with your money

looks like you are doing just fine for yourself, and if you can afford the toys and it's not going to put you in a pinch.. then by all means, live life and enjoy it.

Save up enough cash buy it. Don't get a loan, you'll regret it. As others have said, get another job.

Wanna go fast? Get a V8 or something that's F/I'd from the factory.

To have reliable boost with the VQ. You need to forge the engine

The way to go in todays economy is to save your $ and don't waste it as of right now. You may have a rainy day soon and a turbo won't help you get outta that rain.

but this post was a waste of space since this guy CAN afford it.

Work, like another member said, live below your means, and save save save! I don't know how old you are, but put that money towards school so you can get a better paying job in the future.

Then when you have extra cash laying around and able to throw it around (and still have money in the bank) then go for boost.

Gotta love free financial advice on a car forum - do you all go to the financial forums to research your car mods? What a waste of 3 pages. Jeesh!
