I was in the same position, I went with the 350. Sure the Z06 is much much faster but the ride sucks, the interior is one of the worst ever (I mean honestly, they call that leather?), and well it just doesn't feel as tight of a car to me for some reason as the 350. My buddy let me borrow his Z06 for a week and yeah it was great but it gets old after a few days. Now if you are going to track the car yeah, get the Z06, brakes are super cheap, it's just tires that kinda get pricey.
Z06. It's just a fast, solid car. Won't give you trouble as it's in the later half of the C5 run. The C6 feels soft compared to the C5Z. The C5Z is much more raw.
The c5 z06 is lame dude... They look like they are from the 80's.

Look and brand name and type of vehicle gets the women Charles Field. Im sorry but the Corvette has the 350z owned even as a base model c5 or c6 any day. All you have to say at the club/bar is oh hi I drive a vette and panties wet. But you say I drive a 350z they say oh, that nissan thingy....
