New daily driver - 07 350z vs. 04 c5 z06
So guys its time for a new daily for me. Im having a hard time deciding between my last 2 car choices. Here are my 2 final contendants-
2007 350z - $23k and 22k on the odometer. Touring w/nav
or
2004 c5 z06 - $27k and only 13k on the odometer. This car is literally old man driven by a friend of my family and he has(well still awaiting) since upgraded to the zr1.
I did have an 04 m3 but my brothers maintenace costs scared me away.
So which would you think would be the best all around buy of a car? Which would you drive? The z06 does get marginally better all around mpg as well as I had the car for over a week and literally fell in love with it. But Ive also always love my z's. Help me out here guys my 240sx vert sells soon and I am purchasing the car asap.

I daily drive my z and its not a problem. I love it to death, however, the zo6 is a bada$$ car. If I could have gotten a z06 for that price I would have jumped all over it. It's an older year but less miles and they will both lose value anyways, so I would go for the lower mileage (and better car in my opinion). Just my 2 cents though.

Are you kidding me!?! Z06 all the way dudeski!! At that price, the vette is a steal. I daily drive an 03 Z touring and love it, but the vette has soooo much more appeal.... not to mention it's HP too lol. That level 5 vette could eat my level 2 Z's lunch anyday

Why not just drive them? I personally would go with the 350Z. As much as i love horsepower, i can't get over the look of the car. The Vette looks 10-15 years old. I'm sure its a monster on the road though, best bang for the buck on the market. You should take a spin in the Z for more than 30 minutes. Have the dealer give you an extended test drive if they can. Since you know the vette driver you can drive that car for the same amount of time and pick the one you like most.

Coming from a 350Z and now driving a C5Z...
Daily driving: C5Z hands down.
More comfortable during long drives.
Larger trunk space (alot larger).
Equal or better mileage.
More power.
Better visibility.

I was in the same position, I went with the 350. Sure the Z06 is much much faster but the ride sucks, the interior is one of the worst ever (I mean honestly, they call that leather?), and well it just doesn't feel as tight of a car to me for some reason as the 350. My buddy let me borrow his Z06 for a week and yeah it was great but it gets old after a few days. Now if you are going to track the car yeah, get the Z06, brakes are super cheap, it's just tires that kinda get pricey.
