Wat????? I'm Korean and know that many Koreans would be in awe with the Z06 and the Z would just be a nice car. Corvette has so much more global appeal.

A GT car? The G35/Skyline is a GT car. The Z has always been a true sports car.

Okay Corvette Troll. The Z car has always been compared to the Corvette since it's introduction. The 240Z even beat the Corvette back when it came out in tests and was on the cover of a magazine. I don't recall what magazine but I remember seeing it. Why would they compare the Z car to the Corvette if it wasn't a Sports car?

Get real.

The Corvette should be called a Muscle car.

Leaf Springs, Push Rod, American car. No new technology.

Yet it totally devastates the 350Z in all catagories.

BTW, the leaf springs used in the vette outperforms the suspension setup used in you beloved NISMO.

The pushrod motor in the vette is more efficient and powerful than your VQ.

Why do you want something that isn't broken fixed?

Pray tell, what new technology has the 350Z used? Just a reminder, overhead cam engines have been around longer than pushrod ones.

This is just stupid. How is the 350z a GT? It has no backseats, and little trunk room. The M3 is a GT. The S4/S5 is a GT.

Just because it doesn't perform like the Z06 doesn't make it a GT.

Is that all you have to say, you chevy nuthugger!? Why don't you go back to the donut shop and splurge for a while. You probably don't get enough love from your fellow vette forum members so you lurk around here to stir the pot <- I'm sure you've stashed & smoked a few during one of your many coffee breaks.

Some cop must have stole the love of your life in the past...

Such hosility that it blinds you from the topic at hand

But, if the internet makes you feel tougher, keep at it.

I would probably choose the Z06. It is a nicely made car and that V8 is just beautiful.

Here's my take. I had a c4 for 10 years and have driven many c5's. Hands down they are great cars for scooting around the road. I just ordered my new 08 350Z, my 07 became victim to hurricane Ike.

I enjoy the smaller platform of the 350z over the Corvette, whether it realy handles better than the Corvette is of no matter to me, because it feels more nimble than the Corvette. The smaller platform gives it a quicker feel and makes it more enjoyable. Granted I've hung some corners in the Corvette that I don't think the Z could take as well, but it's close. The Corvette feels far better planted on a high speed turn.

Swapping lanes is a different story, the feel of the Z zipping in and out of traffic beats the Corvette in feel. I think the Corvette could hang right there with it without any strain, and may even do better. But the feedback from the car itself is rougher in the Z, which makes it feel more like you're part of the car.

It's more of a matter on what road feel you want when you are driving. The wife loved driving the Corvette and riding in it. She didn't like the Z, said it was too rough and noisey. I like the rough and noisey character of the Z. If I wanted a luxury car, I'd get one.
