A) This is a sports car so it is over engineered, no extended warrenty for me.

B) Its a first year model, lets at least have the 7 year/75 k miles extended warrenty.

C) Life is like a box of chocolates... I got the 10 year/100k miles warrenty mommy.

D) Had the warrenty, and is or has canceled it.

 

Tsss...wish I could get rid of my basic warrenty.

Mine was a demo. You bet I got the warrenty.

 

As I understand it, you can buy the extended warranty anytime during the normal 3 year warranty period. I may buy it if when I near the 3 year point it looks like I'll keep it longer, but quite frankly, I'm likely going to buy a new one again!

 

What exactly do you mean over engineered, I dont care who makes it and how its made/tested anything mechanical is prone to breaking?

 

If I hadn't read so many negative posts on the various forums preceeding my purchase I probably would have forgone the extended warranty. BUT, I had to have the car anyway--LOTS of positive posts too, and many more now.
I decided to go for it (75,000 mile), include it in the financing, and just think of it as insurance--which is what it is.

Got the extended warranty although I think I will sell the car before I get to use it.

 

I got the 75k extended warranty as well. Had to do a lot of merchantile bikering before I got it to only be an additional 11 bucks a month :O. But that 75k warranty will be up sooner than later seeing as how I got 18k miles in 3 1/2 months :O

 

I have the 7 year 100000 mile warrenty and dealer installed extra alarm...

at the end of my lease (if i decide to give it up) ill get the money back for the warrenty pro-rated...
