Hey guys..I have an issue and I need your inputs and suggestion.
Let me start with this,my problem is that I have a 08 Z and I have about $13k to spend but I can not make up my mind about which to chose from these two:
1- GREDDY HR TT TUNER KIT,that's come with 20G's and free TI-C,Haltech..etc. and I may need more $$$ to spend here!!

OR

2- CHARGESPEED SUPER GT STYLE WIDE BODY KIT, 19" OR 20" wheels,Coil Over Kit,seats,audio system,NOS..etc,everything to make it a breathtaking car.

So please I need your opinions!! like:
people who worked on your exterior,do you regret it,you wish you did the performance first? or you have never been happier.etc..
And if you would like to flam I don't care

DO you want performance or show? Why are you asking people how to spend your money. But whatever I say go performance, dont need 13 grand to make a z sexy, it alrdy is.

 

The problem is 13k is almost my limit here .

 

get some rims, N.O.S, and call it a day, no body kit, NO BODY KIT is going to make the Z look better than it already does

 

EVEN THIS:

 

A show car with no go, is not as fun.

 

Especially that. I would go for the power over that kit anyday.

put that money into a qualified IRA retirment plan and start saving up so you can buy a Ferrari and not have to work...

If you are using credit for 13,000, don't...

 

with 13 k i would stick with show.

if you are willing to put more money? go for power.. but dont forget to save some money for tune-ups and uninstalls just incase engine blows

your money, if you need more speed than the Z already delivers buy another cheap car with the 13 grand, a cheap *** fixed up modded srt4 or a mazda 3speed, and have 2 rides. if have one to show and one to be retarded in and street race, get tickets, crash, and kill other people. just cause you think modding a car is gonna make it "that much faster".
on another note, buy a corvette or something with ***** and no other mods needed with your money and ditch the z *or just buy the kit you want cuz its gonna make you smile. why does anyone need someone else to tell them? now go to the bathroom and brush your teeth and comb your hair. What a stupid post.

 

Distribute equally between the two. with 13K you should be able to make for a clean, tastefully modded Z. IMO the Z already has beautiful lines as it is. So to me there is no need for a gaudy bodykit that transforms the look of the car. Light asthetics, a nice set of wheels, and high quality suspension components will give you a clean and tasteful look. It normally doesn't take much to make these cars looks good. And with the money left over, you can throw on some high quality bolt-ons. This to me is a more balanced financial decision compared adding a 1000 pound bodykit to a stock motor, or maxxing out your budget for FI (which still may not be enough)

 

How experienced of a driver are you? Always start with suspension and learn about the handling and potentials of the car before going big power. I sorta have something against people that have cars that make 500+ HP but has stock suspension and cannot drive chit..
