Default Short Throw Shifter........... Very good.....

For all those that have the Z already, or for anyone who has driven the car..... Is the shifting comparable to the S2000? Short and very tight? (gear openings very close together) Anyone who has driven both please tell me........ Hope it feels the same because thats one hell of a shifter......

Maybe I'll get a chance when I pick up my Z, as my friend has a 2002 S2000.

Just give me three short months and I can give you the evaluation when mine comes. Can you wait? I'll have to.

Is it just me or is this the 3rd thread by the same person on basically the same topic in 24 hours?

Relax bro, as soon as someone who can compare the two can, they will.

You're the kind of guy that yells at the microwave for not cooking your frozen burrito fast enough, aren't you?

Fourth, if you count the one he just posted at Zcar. I'm wondering what the point of this thread is? If someone says the Z shifter is wonderful, are you going to blow off the S2000 on the basis of some unknown person's opinion. Conversely, if someone says the Z shifter sux, or you going to blow off the Z again on the basis of some random comment by an unknown person. Since you obviously like the S2000 and your Z is coming in a couple of weeks, it seems to me you should wait for the Z and then decide, as opposed to basing a $30K+ decision on the advice of some random person on the internet. In the meantime, trying to harass people to respond to your FOUR threads on the same subject doesn't seem like its going to get you very far.

Wow, this gets my award for "Most creative spelling".

My guess is that "ubsest" is supposed to be "obsessed"? I love reading some of the spellings people come up with on the Internet!

I actually wish the clutch was heavier... I have a wierd fettish for heavy clutches (even though my current ACT XTSS will give you back pains since the pressure plate is so stiff)
