I'm getting a new car soon and I've already decided on a '07/'08 350z 6MT, but I don't know if I should go with the base model or the enthusiast.
I want to get the base model because it's cheaper, but I'm concerned by the fact that it doesn't come with a limited slip differential (VLSD). Is that even necessary?
What are the benefits of having the vlsd?
How will it affect manouvers such as drifting, donuts, 180's, etc.?
I drive fast and hard sometimes... and I plan on drifting and doing donuts sometimes.
please help
Give me a call before you do this. That way I can follow you and when you crash, I'll have a handy tool box ready to part out your car swiftly.
^its a little ****, in the engine bay. right next to the headlight fluid reservoir. kinda covered by the flex capacitor harness by the firewall. if u look at it from the right fender u could see it, its black.

I have an '06 base, of course without a LSD and i have only ever really noticed needing it in the rain. But as long as you have a "little bit" of common sense in wet conditions; you'll be fine. But cruise control is a different story...
